Systemic Coaching: Finding Your Inner Resources through Systemic Awareness (Speaker: Kathy Tracey, MCC)

October 23, 2020 | 9:00 am - 10:30 pm

In these, and other challenging times, it is sometimes hard for us to find our own internal resources. If we are feeling stressed or anxious, whilst of course pretending to be fine (because we are coaches️), then it’s no surprise we are not at our best. Lots of our clients are struggling here too.

Your internal resources are the knowledge and skills that you gather from experience and then activate to allow you to regulate your emotional state, take good care of yourself, and grow in self-awareness, optimism and confidence.

Kathy Tracey, MCC will share her systemic understanding and practice of finding resources, using an exercise called “The Piwakawaka’s Tail”. You will find this a versatile and easy to use tool which will become your ‘go-to’ tool for a range of coaching situations. Simple but powerful. It’s particularly well received in life coaching, executive coaching and career coaching. This coaching intervention is a real gift right now as it’s easy to use when coaching by phone or video link.

This workshop will include an introduction of systemic work, embodied practice and the use of metaphor followed by a demonstration of the tool. Participants will then be paired to practice the tool and return for a debrief of the experience.

“I put my resource tail up on the fridge – it transforms my self-belief & confidence every day!”
Health Sector Manager.

This event qualifies for 1.5 CCE Units.
